BRIDAL MAKE-UP

Bridal make-up is done in three stages: the complexion, the eyes and the lips. And a few tips from a make-up artist specialising in weddings that I'd be delighted to share with you...

For the complexion, first apply the make-up base, then the foundation (in the colour closest to your skin tone). Then comes the ‘concealer’ which is applied to all areas of the face that need brightening or even blurring. This obviously corrects dark circles, but also small spots, redness and pigmentation marks. Next comes powder, applied after foundation, which evens out, sets and brightens the complexion. Finally, compact powder can be used for touch-ups. Blush adds the final touch to enhance the complexion; it should be in harmony with the lipstick.

For the eyes, pencil, powder or cream eyeshadow subtly shades the eyes with colour. Mascara, ideal for intensifying the eyes, and eyeliner for highlighting them, should be applied with a brush. The pencil can also be used to emphasise the eyes, blended delicately to blend the line. The colour should be in harmony with the mascara and eye shadow.

Finally, the lips should be drawn on with a lip pencil which can correct the natural line of the mouth and set the lipstick, in a darker shade. The lipstick can be enhanced with a touch of gloss in the centre, for a glamorous effect...

MAKE-UP FOR EVENTS

As a make-up artist in Paris, I'm available for all types of event make-up, including fashion shows. Depending on the number of people to be made up, I may be accompanied by some of my students.

I work both in France and abroad. I have no exclusive links with any brand. I use and master all types of products, moisturisers, waterproofs, etc.

I'm also a make-up artist for the cinema (short and feature films), television sets, theatre, children's events, Christmas trees, birthdays, etc.

HAIRSTYLE FOR WEDDINGS

For your bridal hairstyle, I put my energy and experience at your disposal: at home or at your reception venue.

A preliminary meeting is essential to determine your wishes and to present you with my book illustrated with my various bridal hairstyle proposals: curly chignon, loose chignon, curly hair, retro chignon... my legendary styling that is worth a thousand brushings...

As a hair stylist and make-up artist, I'll adapt your hairstyle and make-up to suit the dress you're planning, and suggest a few hair accessories to go with it.
